The Hounds of Love bring Kate Bush's classic songs to life with a live band and an 18-piece orchestra in this orchestral tour.
The Hounds of Love are playing The Pavilion Theatre on Thursday 8 April 2027, as part of Classically Kate Bush, a new show built around Kate Bush's most enduring songs. The set includes 'Cloudbusting', 'Hounds of Love', 'Babooshka', 'Wuthering Heights' and 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)', all reimagined with full orchestral arrangements. The Hounds of Love front the performance with a live band and an 18-piece orchestra, and they describe themselves as leading interpreters of her songbook. They've set up the night to honour both Bush's experimental spirit and the classical influences that run through her catalogue.
Bush herself is a famously rare live performer who has always made appearances on her own terms, so this is one of the few ways to hear her songs played out in a live room. She remains a totemic figure in popular culture, and her status as one of the most visionary and influential artists of all time was reaffirmed by a recent resurgence that peaked when 'Running Up That Hill' became a global phenomenon thanks to Stranger Things. This show brings that same material to a live stage, with the orchestral arrangements taking centre stage rather than the original recordings.
