Stand-up comedy show by Christopher Macarthur-Boyd, a special recording of his Edinburgh Fringe 2025 sell-out run.
Christopher Macarthur-Boyd brings his new show Howling at the Moon to Òran Mór on Sunday 22 November. It's a recording of the set, so you'll be part of the capture rather than just watching from the dark. The show is built around neurodivergence, sexuality and lunacy, and it comes off a total sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025, where it was cited as one of the hottest tickets of the Fringe.
Macarthur-Boyd is born and bred in Glasgow, and he's built a solid presence on the stand-up scene. He hosts the Here Comes The Guillotine podcast alongside Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe, starred in the comedy specials Oh No and Scary Times, hosted the BBC New Comedy Award, starred in Scotland Stands Up and appeared on Frankie Boyle's New World Order. He's opened for the likes of Kevin Bridges, Shane Gillis, Kerry Godliman, Jason Manford and David Cross, and he's often described as a rising star following in Bridges' footsteps. The Skinny called him 'a comedian on the ascent', and critics have dubbed him the 'gold standard of Scottish stand-up'.
