Second year of the free drop-in LEGO fan displays and build zone at the Riverside Museum.
Bricks By The Clyde is back at the Riverside Museum on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, returning for its second year. It's a LEGO exhibition, so the main draw is the displays: you walk through a series of builds put together by some of the best fan builders in Scotland. These aren't official sets from a box, but the kind of things people spend weeks or months on in their own spare time, so there's a good bit of variety to see.
It's not just for looking, either. Alongside the displays, there's a LEGO build zone where you can get stuck in yourself and maybe walk away with a prize. If you're going with kids, that's probably where they'll spend most of their time, while the adults can take a proper look at the builds. It's the sort of thing that works as a quick half-hour visit or a slow wander, depending on how much you want to see.
One thing to keep in mind is the car park. The museum has around 100 spaces, and they tend to fill up fast on weekends, so if you're driving, it's worth getting there early or just taking public transport instead. The museum is well-connected, so the bus or train is usually the easier shout.
