The Cash For Kids Emergency Services Day Rave returns to Barras Art And Design Centre as a fundraiser.
Breaking BAaD returns to Barras Art And Design Centre on Saturday 10 April 2027. It's the Cash For Kids Emergency Services Day Rave, a fundraiser that's back at BAaD following last year's edition.
If you've never been, the venue is worth a look on its own. BAaD is a studio, retail space and creative hub in the heart of the Barras Market in Glasgow's East End, housed in a building with a covered courtyard and a glazed roof held up by pink steel arches. It's listed as an attraction, a live music venue and an eating and drinking spot, with room for parties, weddings, gigs, comedy nights, exhibitions, fashion shows and conferences. This one falls into the party end of that list.
As a day rave, it's built for dancing rather than standing around, and as a fundraiser for Cash For Kids, it's one of those days where the music is the main draw but the money goes to a good cause. It's a return to the same spot as last year, so if you were there for the previous one, you'll know the layout.
