A wild night of Bongo's Bingo with rave intervals, dance offs and big money prizes, Halloween special.
Bongo's Bingo returns to SWG3 Galvanizers on Saturday 24 October, this time as a Halloween special. If you've never been, it's not your nan's bingo: the whole thing is built around rave intervals, awkward dance-offs, big money and ridiculous prizes, a riotous twist on the traditional pastime that's taken on Scotland. The press have noticed too, with Heat World describing it as 'sweeping the nation'.
It's a high-energy night, and the Halloween theme adds another layer to the mix. The rave intervals are the heart of it, turning the room into a dancefloor between the bingo calls, and the dance-offs are exactly what they sound likeβyou'll be on your feet, and you might be up front. The prizes range from the genuinely big money to the completely absurd, so you're as likely to walk away with a decent sum as you are something you'll never actually use.
SWG3 is a Glasgow institution, and the Galvanizers is one of its biggest spaces, so there's plenty of room to move. It's an 18+ event, and tickets tend to sell out fast, so it's worth getting yours sorted early rather than leaving it to the last minute. The 24 October date is just one of many sessions Bongo's is running across the city this autumn and winter, so if you can't make this one, there are plenty more to choose from.
