A night of poetry, music and comedy hosted by Ross Wilcock, shining a light on queer and underrepresented acts.
Big Gay Cabaret returns to The Poetry Club on Tuesday 27 October, with this second night of the Second Chance Fringe run. It's hosted by Ross Wilcock, the Glasgow-based queer poet who runs the whole thing.
If you haven't come across it before, Big Gay Cabaret is a welcoming night of poetry, music, comedy and more, and it's built around a specific focus: shining a light on queer and under-represented acts from across Scotland and beyond. That means the bill pulls from a few different disciplines rather than sticking to one, and the performers it features are often the ones who don't always get the biggest platforms.
This particular session is part of SWG3's What's On programme at The Poetry Club, so it sits within the wider run of events they've got going on. Because it's a mixed bill, you'll get a bit of everything in one evening — poetry, music, and comedy — rather than just one thing on repeat.
