Big BAaD Christmas Night Out

The Big BAaD Christmas Night Out is on at Barras Art and Design Centre on Thursday 3 December, starting at 6.30pm. It's one of the festive nights BAaD is running through the season, and they've billed it as a night of great food, festive drinks and plenty of Christmas chaos. You'll get a welcome drink on arrival, and the main event is a festive three-course menu, so it's a proper sit-down meal rather than just a few drinks and a dance.

On the music side, DJ Chris Taylor is on the decks, keeping things moving through the evening. The night is run by The Calton Taproom, who also run the venue itself.

If you've never been, Barras Art and Design (BAaD) is a venue, studio, retail space and creative hub in the heart of the Barras Market in Glasgow's East End. It's a unique building with a spectacular covered courtyard and a glazed roof supported on pink steel arches. Inside you'll find a tropical courtyard oasis, a floating restaurant and a sun-trapped container yard, and it hosts everything from parties, weddings and gigs to comedy nights, exhibitions, fashion shows and conferences. It's a proper East End spot, and this night is part of their wider Christmas offering.

Tickets are £55.25, which is £50 plus a booking fee. It kicks off at 6.30pm on 3 December at BAaD, 54 Calton Entry, Glasgow East End G40 2SB.
