Memphis legends Big Ass Truck headline with support from Pintglass and Hype Cycle at The Classic Grand.
Big Ass Truck play The Classic Grand on Friday 22 January 2027, with support from Pintglass and Hype Cycle. It's a Glasgow date for the Memphis legends, who've been together for more than three decades now.
They formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in the mid-1990s and built a cult following by mashing up psychedelic rock, funk, R&B and hip-hop, with live turntablism as part of the sound. The core of the band is Steve Selvidge and Robert Barnett, alongside vocalist and guitarist Robby Grant. Over the years they've put out a string of acclaimed albums, including Kent (1996), Who Let You In Here? (1998) and The Rug (2001).
To mark the three decades, they've released All You Can Handle, a career-spanning retrospective that pulls together their work from across the years. They're known for high-energy live shows that mix their own songs and covers with fan favourites, so you'll hear the old records alongside the newer stuff. The night is promoted by Triple G Events.
