Ania Magliano, fresh from Taskmaster, brings her new stand-up show 'Peach Fuzz' to The Stand Comedy Club.
Ania Magliano brings her new stand-up show Peach Fuzz to The Stand in Glasgow on Wednesday 31 March 2027. It's a rescheduled date from 2026, so if you'd been keeping an eye out for it, this is the one to mark in your calendar. It's a full hour of stand-up in her usual laidback, storytelling style, and it's built around a few specific threads: the quirks of her own body, the legend of Eve, and the boundaries she's only recently discovered. From there it opens up into a mix of jokes, confessions and the occasional unhinged observation.
If you're not already familiar with her, you've likely come across her recently — she was on the latest series of Taskmaster and is a star of SNL UK. She's also a writer for Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date and has opened for Ed Gamble, Marc Maron and Catherine Cohen. Her choices on the Off Menu podcast are widely regarded as the worst of all time, which is a fair bit of local currency in the comedy world. Peach Fuzz itself was an Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Show nominee, and the press has been on board: The Telegraph called her "a gift for observational comedy and weaving beautifully crafted routines", while The Guardian said she "will have you crying with laughter".
