Scottish pirate-metal icons Alestorm bring their brand new tour to the O2 Academy Glasgow, with support from Battle Beast and Wizardthrone.
Alestorm play the O2 Academy Glasgow on Sunday 24 January 2027, as part of a 13-date UK tour that runs through O2 Academy venues across the country throughout the month. It's a brand new tour for them, and the Glasgow date is one of the stops on the run. They're not coming alone, either: Battle Beast and Wizardthrone are both on the bill, so there are three bands to get through before the night wraps up.
If you're not familiar with them, Alestorm started back in 2004 as a project by a group of lads from a small town in eastern Scotland. Since then they've grown into what they call the best pirate metal band in the world, with their popularity and critical acclaim rising with every album they've put out. That's also earned them slots at some of Europe's most prestigious festivals, so this is a proper headline show rather than a festival set.
The Glasgow date is one of thirteen O2 Academy venues they're hitting across the UK in January 2027, so they'll be playing the same run of shows in different cities throughout the month. With Battle Beast and Wizardthrone supporting, it's a full bill of metal on the one night.
