ADÉLA brings her headline tour to the O2 Academy Glasgow on Sunday 17 January 2027, fresh off the release of her debut album, Prima. The show is part of 'The Red Bottoms Tour', and it's her first Glasgow date since the record came out.
There's a fair bit of ground to cover in the set. ADÉLA describes her music as a way of tracking the changes in her life, and Prima pulls from two very different places: the lighter, confident pop side and the darker, more brutal ballads that come out of fresh breakups. Hearing them side by side is where the record sits, and the tour is built around that contrast.
There's a bit of a story behind the name, too. She started as a prodigious ballerina in Slovakia, balancing the discipline of dance with an insatiable hunger for pop stardom. She eventually made that dream a reality 6,000 miles from home in Los Angeles, and she describes herself as the curious little girl from Slovakia and the unapologetic girl who made it happen. That distance — from the ballet studio to the LA pop scene — is a good way to frame the two sides of the music she's touring.
