Guided Christmas photo walk through Edinburgh's decorated streets, with a winter and low-light photography introduction and free Fujifilm camera loans.
Wex Photo Video Edinburgh is running a Fujifilm Christmas Photo Walk on Wednesday 25 November, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. It's part of their Wex Sessions, and the whole thing is built around the city's Christmas atmosphere: illuminated shopfronts, seasonal decorations and candid street moments, all shot in Edinburgh's winter light. It's aimed at current Fujifilm users, photographers thinking about switching to the brand, and anyone with an interest in street or low-light photography.
The session starts with a 20-minute introduction on how to photograph the city in winter and how to work in low light, so you've got a bit of a plan before you head out. That's followed by a two-hour guided walk through the city, and then a short debrief to go over the techniques you've used. If you don't have your own gear, there are free Fujifilm camera and lens loans available on the day, though they're in limited numbers and handed out as people arrive, so it's first come, first served. You'll need to bring your own SD card and show a valid photo ID to get one.
