Wee Bit Social Coffee & Coworking

Wee Bit Social is hosting another Coffee & Coworking day at Lister Place on Tuesday 3 November, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It's a full day of working alongside a friendly group of female business owners in Edinburgh city centre, and if you've spent too much time working from your kitchen table lately, it's a good way to get out of the house and get some things ticked off your list.

These days are run by Marti, who started her social media marketing and strategy business in 2016 and has been hosting Wee Bit Social events since 2017. They sit alongside her Coffee & Chat and Content Creation Days, and she describes them as relaxed, informal alternatives to traditional networking, with a focus on real conversation, community and on making small business owners feel less alone. The idea is to gather a group of women running their own things in the city, in a room where the chat is lively but plenty of work gets done too.

It's a flexible setup, so you can work how you like. You're welcome to bring headphones if you need to zone in, and there are two soundproof booths you can book in advance for calls. The ticket covers coworking for either a half or a full day, and you get unlimited machine coffee and tea throughout the day, so you can keep the caffeine going without having to leave your desk. It's at Lister Place, 11 Rutland Street, EH1 2AE, and tickets are £35.37.
