Wednesday Night 6-a-side returns to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Wednesday 28 October, with kick-off at 20:30. It's a 6-a-side football session, and this one takes place on pitch 5, which they've dubbed 'Camp Nou'.

The Corn Exchange itself is a bit of a city landmark, originally built in 1885 and still standing in the heart of Edinburgh. These days it's mostly known as a music venue, with a capacity of around 1,200 and a long history of hosting concerts, exhibitions and private functions. The football sessions run on a rented pitch inside, and they're booked through meetup.com.

If you're thinking of joining in, there are a couple of practical things to keep in mind. The organisers advise bringing football boots with plastic studs rather than big metal ones. If it's your first time, you'll need to message the host before the game to confirm you're coming. They run a strict no-show policy: if you don't turn up, you get a two-match ban. There's also an automatic waiting list system in place, so if a spot opens up, it'll go to the next person in line.
