Volta: Phase Records Takeover [HALLOWEEN SPECIAL]

Phase Records take over The Bongo Club on Tuesday 27 October for a Halloween special, part of Volta's weekly Tuesday sessions. The night is presented by Volta Audio and is devoted to drum and bass, so it's a proper D&B night rather than a mixed bill. The Bongo Club itself has been a fixture of Edinburgh's nightlife since 1996, and the Volta nights are built around connecting people through a shared love of underground dance music, with a capacity of around 300.

On the decks are Gifta, Ekstatic, and Ominous, who'll be taking turns across the night. It's a Tuesday session, so if you're usually out on the weekends, this is one of those mid-week spots that keeps the city's dance scene going when most of the bigger clubs are dark. The Halloween theme gives it a bit of extra occasion, too, so it's as much a party as it is a club night.

It runs from 23:00 to 03:00, so it's a late one that carries on well into Wednesday morning. Tickets start from £3, and you'll find it at The Bongo Club, 66 Cowgate, Edinburgh EH1 1JX.
