Annual Halloween club night with a costume contest and a string of DJs, aimed at the city's student crowd.
Hooseparty: The Final Girls takes over The Bongo Club on Wednesday 28 October, from 11:00 pm to 3:00 am. It's the club night's annual Halloween special, bringing the season to the dancefloor early and aimed squarely at the city's Thursday student crowd. The title plays on the horror trope of the 'final girl' — the last survivor who faces off against the killer — though the organisers say the term is used for promotional and marketing purposes only.
The night is built around a costume contest and a string of DJs, with dressing up heavily encouraged and the room open to everyone. On the decks are Fiorenza, Miss Cabbage and Salam Kitty, taking turns to keep the floor moving until the early hours. If you've got a costume you've been waiting to wear, this is the night to bring it out.
