Guided tasting of three Scottish whiskies in the historic Tolbooth Tavern on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, with a voucher valid for two people.
The Tolbooth Tavern on the Royal Mile is running a three-whisky flight for two, and it's a good shout if you're in the city and fancy a proper look at a few different drams without having to commit to a whole bottle of each. The flight puts three Scottish whiskies side by side: Jura 10 Year Old, Aberfeldy 12 Year Old, and Glenkinchie 12 Year Old. That's a decent spread to work through in one go, and because it's for two, you've got someone to compare notes with as you go.
The tasting is set in the cosy, historic rooms of the tavern, and it's pitched as more than just a few pours. The guide talks you through the whiskies and shares some of the building's history, so the room itself plays as much a part as the drams. It's the kind of thing that works well as a slow afternoon in town rather than a rushed stop. A review from May 2026 called it a great birthday present and praised the history the guide brings to the table.

Practicalities: the session runs up to 45 minutes and it's available seven days a week between noon and 5 pm, so you can slot it in whenever suits you best. You'll need to be at least 18 to take part, and the venue isn't wheelchair accessible. It costs £54.50 for two, and the voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, which gives you plenty of time to pick a day that works.
