Scottish techno legends TTF play the Edinburgh Corn Exchange for an over-18s Christmas party of 90s rave anthems.
TTF are back at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Saturday 19 December, their first Edinburgh date in a while. It's a 90s rave night put on by BTTF Events, who've billed it as 'the Ultimate Christmas Party', and the whole thing runs from 6pm until midnight.
For those who need the context, TTF were formed in 1990 by frontman and producer Jon Campbell and are widely regarded as Scotland's first major techno group. They burst onto the rave scene in the early 90s and ran off a string of chart-topping hits, including the top-40 tracks 'The Ultimate High' and 'New Emotion', and their UK top-10 single 'Real Love'. Campbell still leads the band alongside singer Lorena Dale, and they're still headlining nostalgia festivals and dance revival tours across the country.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. The line-up includes DJ Sammy, Ian Van Dahl, JX and Love Inc both playing live, The Space Brothers, Ultrabeat and Mickey Modelle, so it's a full night of 90s dance rather than just a single set. BTTF Events describe the night as a floor of dance anthems, hands-in-the-air classics and Christmas party madness.
