Free Halloween-themed cooking class for families with spooky recipes, pumpkin ideas and zero-waste tips from Thermomix Scotland.
Thermomix Scotland is running a Halloween-themed cooking class called Tricks and Treats at their Scotland Branch on Thursday 22 October. It's a family-friendly session, so it's one you can bring the kids along to rather than leaving them at home while you get stuck in.
The evening is built around spooky recipes, with a particular focus on what to do with leftover pumpkin — that half-carved thing that usually sits in the fridge for a week after Halloween. They'll be showing you how to turn it into something edible rather than just letting it go to waste, which is a handy trick if you've got a house full of kids and a lot of pumpkin on the go.
Beyond the recipes, there's a bit of a wider point to the night. They'll be talking through how a Thermomix can make party food easier to pull together, and they'll be touching on zero-waste cooking, so you'll walk away with a few ideas for cutting down on food waste in the kitchen. It's as much about the practical side of running a household as it is about the Halloween treats.
