Late-night session of traditional and folk musicians from across Scotland at the Tolbooth Tavern on the Royal Mile, with a welcome drink on arrival.
Late Night Live Music is on at The Tolbooth Tavern this Wednesday 28 October, starting at 20:00. It's part of a series that brings traditional and folk musicians from across Scotland to the Royal Mile, and this particular night is one of many: the sessions usually run on Thursdays at 21:00, with dates continuing through October 2027.
The music comes from the traditional and folk scene, with players drawn from all over Scotland rather than just the local circuit. It's a pub session in the truest sense, and the tavern's historic atmosphere on the Royal Mile carries the nights. Beyond these sessions, the venue also stages Scottish-themed celebrations like St Andrew's Day, Burns Week and Burns Night, so this sits right in the middle of what they do.
The series is supported by the Loch Lomond Group, whose brand partners, Loch Lomond Single Malt and Ben Lomond Gin, both inspired by the landscape of Ben Lomond, provide the welcome drink that comes with your ticket. You get to choose between them when you arrive.
