Immersive exhibition with original artefacts and recreations of the Titanic, following the ship from construction to its wreck, curated by White Star Heritage.
The Titanic Exhibition opens at the Royal Highland Centre on 28 November 2026 and runs until 14 February 2027, with timed entry throughout. It's the show's biggest Scottish run to date, coming to Edinburgh after stints in Glasgow and Aberdeen that saw some of the strongest opening-week ticket sales of any UK venue. The exhibition follows the liner's story from its construction in Belfast to its ill-fated maiden voyage and its eventual rediscovery on the ocean floor.
It's curated by White Star Heritage, and the artefacts are the real draw here. There's a piece of English oak from the Aft Grand Staircase, a letter written on board by William Henry Harrison, a surviving deckchair, a lifeboat plaque, and second-class cabin fittings. You'll also see the jumpsuit worn by explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet. Alongside the originals are recreations of the ship's anchor, bridge, and wreck.
The way you move through the rooms is what sets it apart. At the start, you're handed a passenger card of a real person who boarded the ship, and you follow their journey through the exhibition. You'll sit in a genuine Second Class chair and touch original door handles, and by the end, you find out what became of them. It turns the history into something personal rather than just a collection of objects behind glass.
