Standing-only 18+ Halloween party with 90s rave and dance music, flashing lights and loud music until the small hours.
Tierhaus returns to Summerhall on Saturday 31 October for a Halloween special, their first night back at the venue after a run of summer parties at Leith Arches. It's a late one, running from 10pm until 3am in The Dissection Room, and it's the only venue in Newington that stays open past 1am, so it's one of the few spots around here where you can actually dance into the early hours without having to migrate across town.
The project takes its cue from 90s electronic music culture, and the whole idea is to bring the communal spirit of that era's rave and dance scene into 2026. It's not about a single headliner; it's about the room moving together, with tunes kept going well into the small hours. There are artists and special Halloween-themed announcements still to come, so the full picture of the night hasn't quite been laid out yet.

It's a standing-only, 18+ night with flashing lights and loud music, so come prepared for that. Tierhaus describes itself as a safe space that won't tolerate any form of discrimination, which is a good thing to have clear before you head out. Tickets are £11.25, which includes £1.25 in fees for online or phone bookings, and the night runs from 10pm to 3am at The Dissection Room, Summerhall, 1 Summerhall, Edinburgh EH9 1PL.
