Halloween edition of Thorny, Edinburgh's queer club night, staged as an Angels 'Vs' Devils party with vocalists, drag acts, burlesque and DJ sets.
Thorny returns to CC Blooms on Saturday 24 October, this time as an Angels 'Vs' Devils party. It's the second edition of the night, which is billed as Edinburgh's newest and hottest FLINTA* led queer club night, curated by The Roze Garden and run by the city's favourite Sapphic duo. The first one went down well, and this one is built around a Halloween theme.
As for what that actually looks like on the night: the live entertainment comes from vocalists, drag acts and burlesque performers, with DJ sets filling the gaps in between. It's a mixed bill rather than a single act, so you'll get a bit of everything across the evening. The Angels 'Vs' Devils theme sets the tone, and since it's a Halloween special, it's a good excuse to lean into the dress code if you're feeling it.
For context, Thorny is a FLINTA* led queer club night, which means it's run by and for women, non-binary and trans people. It's curated by The Roze Garden and put together by the city's favourite Sapphic duo, who are the ones behind the whole thing. This is the second time the night has run, following a successful first edition, so it's still early days for it.
