Over-18s comedy pub quiz hosted by Gareth Waugh, a team-based trivia tournament where comedy knowledge earns tickets to shows at The Stand.
The Stand Comedy Club is running its comedy pub quiz on Tuesday 17 November, with a second date on Wednesday 9 December. It's hosted by comedian Gareth Waugh, who frames the whole thing as his 'Trivia Combat Arena' — a team-based tournament of geekdom where teams battle it out using niche knowledge of things they're '80% sure is probably right'.
The night turns comedy knowledge into tickets to shows at The Stand, one of Edinburgh's best-known comedy venues, so if you've spent too much time keeping track of the circuit, this is where it actually pays off. It's a team affair, and you'll need to book your spot in advance. Prizes are awarded on the night, and the whole thing runs for about 60 minutes.
