American folk-rock band The Felice Brothers play The Queen's Hall on Clerk Street, for over-14s only.
The Felice Brothers play The Queen's Hall on Saturday 13 February 2027. They're an American folk-rock band from the Hudson Valley, and this is a headline show, so they're the only name on the bill.
They've been around for nearly two decades, starting out busking in the subway before moving on to Radio City Music Hall with Bright Eyes, the Newport Folk Festival, and Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble. Their debut, Tonight At The Arizona, came out in 2007, and they've spent the years since pushing the boundaries of the folk revival with a sound that draws on Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Walt Whitman and Flannery O'Connor. The New York Times likened it to the rootsy mysticism of The Band, Rolling Stone called it folk-rock noir and praised the scrappiness of it, and The Guardian described their songs as impeccably crafted, with literary-minded lyrics that are both playful and profound.
Their latest record, Valley of Abandoned Songs, is their first on Million Stars, Conor Oberst's label. It's a good time to catch them live, especially if you've followed them from the early days through to this new material.
