Irish sing-along stage show produced by The Dubliners' John Sheahan, with hits like The Wild Rover and Whiskey in the Jar.
The Dubliners Encore comes to Usher Hall on Friday 29 January 2027, as part of a UK tour that takes the show to Wrexham, Cheltenham and Manchester in March. It's a stage show celebrating The Dubliners, the Irish folk group that spent five decades putting Ireland on the world stage, and it's produced by one of their own: John Sheahan, the renowned fiddle player and Irish icon.
Sheahan has packed 50 years of the band's songs, stories and craic into a single night. The show brings back the original 'bad boys of Irish music' — the beards, the ballads and the band itself — and turns the evening into an Irish sing-along. The set draws on the hits that made them, with a cast singing The Wild Rover, Seven Drunken Nights, The Black Velvet Band, Whiskey in the Jar and The Irish Rover.
