The Comedy Lock-In

The Comedy Lock-In is back at The Beehive Inn on Sunday 22 May, from 20:15 to 22:00. It's a night of stand-up in The Comedy Attic, the club's home on the top floor of the pub in the Grassmarket, one of the Old Town's oldest neighbourhoods with views towards Edinburgh Castle. The room seats around 65, so you're never far from the stage.

The night follows a rotating format: one experienced MC and three acts. It draws on crowd work, sharp stand-up and late-night energy, with fresh line-ups of comedians from Scotland, the wider UK and beyond, and the occasional surprise appearance by recognised comedy names. The Comedy Lock-In bills itself as Edinburgh's original 'Gig Above a Pub' comedy club, and the Attic lives up to that description.

It's an 18+ night, and food and drinks aren't included in the ticket, so you'll need to get those from the bar. The show runs from 20:15 to 22:00 on 22 May at The Comedy Attic, top floor of The Beehive Inn, 18-20 Grassmarket, Edinburgh.
