Free pop-up of handmade jewellery, homeware, art, organic beauty, knitwear and children's clothes by independent makers from across Edinburgh.
The Autumn Collective is taking over The Shop With No Name for a short pop-up from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October, bringing together independent makers from across Edinburgh for a few days in the heart of the city. It's run by dalmenymakersclub, and the whole thing is free to enter, so you can just drift in and look around without any pressure.
Inside, you'll find a good mix of handmade stuff from different makers. There's jewellery, homeware, art and illustration, organic beauty, knitwear and children's clothes, so it works as a one-stop shop if you're hunting for a few different things at once. Because it's a collective of local makers, it's a decent way to see what people around the city are actually making rather than just what's on the high street.
The shop adds a couple of extras to the weekend, too. On Friday afternoon there's a drop-in autumn lantern craft workshop, and on Saturday there are free Halloween colouring activities for children. If you're heading in with kids, the Saturday is probably your best bet, but the lantern workshop on Friday is a nice one to keep in mind if you're around on the weekday.
