The Australian Pink Floyd Show returns to the Usher Hall as part of their Happiest Days Of Our Lives tour.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show are back at Usher Hall on Sunday 1 November, their first Edinburgh date in a while. They're touring Happiest Days Of Our Lives, the latest run of shows they've been taking across the UK.
If you're not familiar with them, they're a tribute act from Adelaide, Australia, and they work in the progressive rock and tribute genres. The whole point of the show is to recreate Pink Floyd's sound and stage presence, so you'll hear the songs played out as the original records had them, rather than a stripped-back or reimagined version. It's a full-band performance, and they've built their name on that attention to detail.
The Edinburgh date is part of a 29-date tour, so this is one of many stops they're making on the way through. The tour title, Happiest Days Of Our Lives, is a nod to the lyrics of Welcome to the Machine, and the set follows the same broad arc of Pink Floyd's career that they've always worked with.
