That's Pure Glass (Christmas special)

That's Pure Glass is running a Christmas special glass painting class at Brshs studio on Sunday 6 December, from 12:00 to 14:00. It's a two-hour session, and the doors open at 11:50, so you've got a few minutes to settle in before things get started.

Behind the name is Anna Davidson, a glass and mosaic teacher who runs these classes in a fun, friendly environment. The whole thing is pitched as a relaxing, beginner-friendly 'sip and paint' experience, so you don't need any prior experience to join in. It's the kind of thing that works as a first-date activity or just a decent afternoon out with friends. You'll be painting on glass, and the session is for over-18s only.

One of the best bits is that you don't need to bring a thing. All the materials are provided: the glass objects to paint, the glass paints, paint brushes, and optional stencils if you're not feeling entirely confident freehanding it. You just turn up and get stuck in. If you're looking for a gift, there are also gift cards available that can be redeemed on her experiences.

The class runs from 12:00 to 14:00 at Brshs studio, 197 Gilmore Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9PW, and tickets are £28.88.
