Over-18s cocktail mixer with autumnal drinks and Thanksgiving-inspired bites at The Cookbook Shop on Leith Walk.
The Cookbook Shop is hosting a Thanksgiving Cocktail Mixer on Friday 20 November, from 8pm to 11pm. It's a night built around the North American harvest season, with hot and cold autumnal cocktails and mocktails alongside sweet and savoury bite-sized reimaginings of classic Thanksgiving dishes. Everything is gluten-free, and many of the options are plant-based, so you don't have to worry about the dietary side of things.
The evening is run by the shop itself, and it's designed to get foodies and cookbook lovers mingling rather than just standing around their drinks. There are activities throughout the night to encourage conversation across the room, so it's more of a social gathering than a standard drinks party. The whole thing takes place inside the shop on Leith Walk, and it's for over-18s only.
