An improvised comedy night by TBC Improv UK, with the TBC Improv Team headlining and a guest troupe opening, at Summerhall.
TBC Improv UK are back at Summerhall on Friday 13 November for TBC & Friends: A Night Of Improvised Comedy, a double-header of unscripted comedy. The TBC Improv Team headlines the night with fast-paced scenes, wild characters and razor-sharp wit, and a guest troupe opens the evening, so you get two different groups on one bill.
It's all improvised, which means nothing is written in advance. The scenes and characters are made up on the spot, and since it's a double bill, you'll see two different takes on the same format in one night. The TBC Improv Team takes the main slot, and a guest troupe handles the opening, so the evening is split between the two.
One of the better things about the setup is that you can bring drinks in from the courtyard bar, so you're not stuck with whatever's on the night. The show runs from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with doors opening at 7:15 PM, and it's held in TBC Improv UK Studio #1 at Summerhall, Edinburgh EH9 1PL.
