Interactive tax compliance session led by chartered accountant Rob Conner for sole traders and limited companies, part of Tribe Talks.
Rob Conner is running a session on tax compliance for sole traders and limited companies at Tribe Porty CIC on Monday 16 November, from 6 pm to 7 pm. It's part of the Tribe Talks: Get to Know Your Tribe series, and the whole thing is interactive, so you're encouraged to ask questions throughout rather than just listening in silence.
Conner is a chartered accountant based in Aberlady, East Lothian, who qualified in July 2001 as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Before that, he worked with the Edinburgh International Festival, Blick Rothenberg CA, and the BBC. Since 2020, he's been working as a freelance chartered accountant with a client base made up of private limited companies, sole traders, and charities, so he's used to dealing with the exact kinds of setups this session is aimed at.
If you're running your own business, the 2026 to 2028 window is a good time to get your head around where you stand. The session is designed for sole traders and limited companies, and because it's an interactive format, you can bring your own questions to the table rather than just following a set presentation. It's an hour in the evening, which works if you're coming from a day of work.
