Free Christmas pop-up market with up to eight makers selling handmade decorations, artisan treats and festive homewares.
Support The Makers are taking over The Shop With No Name for The Christmas Edit, a curated pop-up that opens on Wednesday 9 December and runs through to Sunday 20 December. It's one of the venue's regular pop-ups, and this one is built around the run-up to Christmas.
Inside the light-filled space at 2a Broughton Place, you'll find up to eight makers at a time, with handmade decorations, artisan treats, festive homewares and thoughtful gifts on the shelves. The mix changes, so if you drop in once and don't find what you're after, it's worth popping back a few days later to see who's moved in. The shop is in New Town, near St James Quarter and Elm Row, so it's easy to reach if you're already in the centre.
One thing that sets this apart from a typical craft fair is how it's run. Support The Makers, a small-business champion, staffs the pop-up themselves, which leaves the makers free to focus on their craft rather than running the till. It's framed as a warm, inspiring and stress-free way to find unique gifts while supporting small businesses, and it fits right into the venue's series of pop-ups throughout the year.

Entry is free, and with the shop open from 9 December through to 20 December, you've got nearly two weeks to wander through at your own pace. It's a good spot if you're looking for something a bit more considered than the usual high street options, and since it's in New Town, it's easy to combine with a few other bits of shopping around the area.
