Sparkling Wine Mini Fair

Drinkmonger is hosting its Sparkling Wine Mini Fair on Tuesday 24 November, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at their shop on 11 Bruntsfield Place. It's a mini-festival tasting run by the shop itself, and they've billed it as a chance to find a new favourite bottle before the festive season kicks in.

On the night, you get a glass on entry and work your way around three tasting tables, sampling Champagne, Crémant and Cava. Along the way, you can chat with the brand ambassadors and the Drinkmonger team, so you're not just sipping in silence—you'll have people on hand to talk you through what's in the glass. The Champagne side of things is particularly well-represented, with brand ambassadors there from Krug, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, Telmont and Levasseur.

Drinkmonger describe the evening as hugely popular and back for another year, and if you do find something you like, there's a bit of a bonus: anyone buying on the night gets 10% off in-store purchases of full-price products. It's a good way to sample a few different styles side by side before committing to a bottle for Christmas.

Tickets are £25, and your email order confirmation doubles as your ticket, so you don't need to print anything off. It runs from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm on Tuesday 24 November at Drinkmonger, 11 Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh, EH10 4HN.
