Sophie McCartney - Back In The Day Rave

Sophie McCartney brings her Back In The Day Rave to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Saturday 20 February 2027. It's a comedy day rave, so it's an afternoon thing rather than a late one — doors open at 12:00, the show starts at 13:00, and it wraps up by 16:00. If you're planning to head in, you'll be out and about by mid-afternoon, which is a handy shift for a Saturday.

McCartney is a comedian and a Sunday Times number one bestselling author, and she first hit the radar back in 2017 with a parody of Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' sung from a mum's perspective. Since then, her comedy has focused on the realities of modern-day mumming, and she's built a cult following around it, with more than 1.25 million followers across social media. This show is strictly for over-18s, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of bringing the family along.

It's a single-act bill, with McCartney as the main feature, and the whole thing is set in the Corn Exchange here in Edinburgh. Doors at 12:00, show at 13:00, and a 16:00 curfew.
