Conscious Connected Breathing session led by Anne-Marie Birch, with an hour of Transformational Breathing and group sharing.
Something Always Happens runs at The Salisbury Centre on Tuesday 20 October, from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. It's a session led by Anne-Marie Birch, who's been offering Conscious Connected Breathing work — one-to-one, in groups and as a trainer — for over twenty years, and has trained in several other well-being modalities. The night is built around an hour of Transformational Breathing, which Birch describes as a way to open awareness and share our true selves. The rest of the session invites you to consciously breathe, co-create and experience greater energy, focus, clarity, peace and well-being in an open-hearted group.
It sits within a full 2026 programme of sessions spread across the Centre's Studio and Art Room, so this is one of many dates if you're looking to make a habit of it. The Salisbury Centre itself is an Edinburgh community hub open to all who wish to develop their spiritual, psychological and creative life, with a holistic programme of courses, workshops, lectures, meditations and one-to-one therapeutic work, plus indoor and outdoor spaces to hire. Much of its community activity relies on donations to keep going.

One practical thing to keep in mind: the Studio isn't wheelchair accessible, though the Centre's kitchen door, toilet and Garden are. The session runs from 7:30 to 10:00 pm on Tuesday 20 October, and tickets are £15–30 depending on income, with all welcome.
