The eight-piece Scottish folk-rock band Skerryvore play the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on their 'Beautiful Mistakes' album tour.
Skerryvore play the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Friday 6 November, as part of their Beautiful Mistakes album tour. The Scottish folk-rock band have been around for more than 20 years, and this is one of the dates they're taking the new record across the country.
They started out on the Isle of Tiree, and they've grown into an eight-piece that blends traditional Scottish music with contemporary rock. They're well known for their live shows, and they've been named Scotland's 'Live Act of the Year' four times — a record for the award. The Beautiful Mistakes album was produced by Jamie Squire, who's often called the 'fifth member' of The 1975, so the tour is built around that record.
There are a few practical things to keep in mind if you're planning to go. The show is for ages 14 and over, and anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. If you're under 25, you'll need ID to buy alcohol. The venue also runs a strict bag policy: no large bags or rucksacks, and only one small bag per person, no bigger than A4 size.
