Touring package of original 1960s pop and rock artists, including The Tremeloes, Steve Ellis, Spencer James of The Searchers and The Animals & Friends.
Sixties Gold are back at The Queen's Hall on Saturday 1 May 2027, part of their 2027 tour. It's a package night that brings together original artists and surviving members of the 1960s pop and rock boom on one bill, so you get several names from that era in a single evening rather than just one headliner.
The Tremeloes lead the line as multi-platinum hitmakers of the period, with worldwide successes like 'Silence Is Golden', 'Here Comes My Baby', 'Suddenly You Love Me' and 'Call Me (No 1)'. Steve Ellis, the original lead vocalist and founder of Love Affair, brings five Top 20 singles including the number one 'Everlasting Love'. Spencer James has fronted The Searchers since 1986, known for 'Needles And Pins', 'Don't Throw Your Love Away' and 'Sweets For My Sweet'.
Rounding out the bill are The Animals & Friends, Gerry's Pacemakers and The Fourmost. The Animals were one of the decade's most iconic groups, with a gritty, bluesy sound that sat alongside a rock-edged pop and the worldwide number one 'House Of The Rising Sun'. Gerry Marsden's Gerry's Pacemakers play 'I Like It', 'How Do You Do It' and 'You'll Never Walk Alone', and The Fourmost bring their 1964 hit 'A Little Lovin'.
