Singles Drinks (30s & 40s)

Date with a Difference are hosting a singles drinks night for people in their 30s and 40s at BrewDog, Lothian Road on Saturday 14 November. It's a drop-in evening rather than a structured event, so you can turn up after 8pm and meet other singles over drinks.

The night is run by Date with a Difference, a group started by Aaron, a Super Organizer who set it up out of frustration with dating apps. The whole point of the group is to get people meeting face-to-face rather than through a screen, and they run a fair few in-person events around the city — everything from walks and hikes to group activities built around shared interests. This one is specifically for singles in their 30s and 40s, and it's pitched as a quiet, casual and relaxed setting rather than a high-pressure dating environment. There's no speed-dating timer or forced introductions; you just turn up and chat.
