Scottish pop duo Scratchcard Wednesday play The Mash House in Edinburgh's Old Town, part of their six-date tour.
Scratchcard Wednesday play The Mash House on Sunday 14 February, as part of a six-date tour that takes them through London, Glasgow, Stirling, Aberdeen and Dundee. The Edinburgh date is presented by DF Concerts, and the duo will be headlining the bill.
Scratchcard Wednesday is a Scottish pop duo made up of vocalist Tyrese Ojo and multi-instrumentalist Dexter Brady. Both were born and raised in Glasgow, a city they cite as a main source of inspiration for their music. That connection to their home comes through in the songs, and it's a good place to start if you're trying to get a feel for what they do.
They've been playing out across Scotland and beyond, and the tour is one of their more substantial runs. Recent highlights include supporting Professor Green at Glasgow's SWG3 and headlining a sold-out show at King Tuts, so this is a duo that's been working their way up the club circuit rather than appearing out of nowhere. The Edinburgh date falls on a Sunday, and the tour covers a fair bit of ground across the Central Belt and the North East, with London as the outlier.
