Headline show by singer-songwriter Courtney Hadwin, with support from MuddiBrooke, at The Mash House.
Courtney Hadwin plays The Mash House on Friday 30 October, her Edinburgh date on a UK tour that's been on the go since September. She's the headline act, with support from MuddiBrooke.
If you're wondering who she is, the name might ring a bell from a few years back. Hadwin is a singer-songwriter from County Durham who first made a name for herself in 2018 as a thirteen-year-old finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent. She picked up Simon Cowell's golden buzzer, and the comparisons to Janis Joplin and Tina Turner started almost immediately. After a residency in Las Vegas, she moved into working as an independent artist, collaborating with producer Kevin Bowe and putting out singles like 'Monsters' and 'That Girl Don't Live Here'.
Now twenty-one, she's released her debut studio album, Lil Miss Jagged, which pulls together rock, blues, pop, soul and punk. She's talked about Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' as one of the inspirations behind it, and that mix of styles comes through across the record. Her live shows have played to audiences around the world, including a performance at Carnegie Hall honouring Clive Davis and sold-out dates globally, following UK tours in September 2025 and February 2026. This Edinburgh show is part of her 2026 UK tour.
