Creative workshop with Polymorphics to make a scalloped terrazzo clock using eco-friendly materials.
Polymorphics is running a scalloped terrazzo clock workshop at We Make Edinburgh on Saturday 14 November. You'll spend the session making your own clock from scratch, and it's open to all abilities, so you don't need to have a creative bone in your body to get stuck in.
The workshop is led by Lucy, the designer and tutor behind Polymorphics, a project that specialises in experimenting with materials and eco-resin workshops. The sessions lean on eco-friendly materials, and the clock is just one of the things she teaches. Beyond this, Polymorphics runs regular and seasonal classes at We Make Workshops and at various locations across Edinburgh, casting jewellery and homeware in eco-resin. There are also private craft party workshops, one-to-one sessions for adults and children, and team-building activities for things like children's birthdays, hen parties, weddings and family gatherings.

Lucy shares the studio with Amy, who runs The Edinburgh Craft Club, which focuses on independent craft workshops across Scotland. The two have been running creative workshops from their Abbeyhill studio since 2019, so they've got a good few years of this under their belts. The clock workshop is at We Make Edinburgh, 18 Montrose Terrace, Abbeyhill, Edinburgh East EH7 5DL, on 14 November.
