Hard rock show by Ricky Warwick & The Fighting Hearts, fronted by the former Thin Lizzy and Black Star Riders vocalist, on the Fire & Vengeance Tour.
Ricky Warwick & The Fighting Hearts play La Belle Angele on Tuesday 10 November, part of their Fire & Vengeance Tour. It's a Triple G Events show, and the Edinburgh date is one of the stops on the run.
If you're not familiar with the name, Ricky Warwick is the former vocalist for Thin Lizzy and Black Star Riders, and he's the front of this outfit. The band plays high-energy hard rock built on classic rock, punk and Celtic influences, and they're known for gritty, melodic anthems. It's the kind of sound that gets described as 'street-level' or 'honest' rock 'n' roll — straightforward, loud, and meant for a live room rather than a studio.
That's the core of what they do: hard rock with a punk edge and a bit of Celtic grit underneath. Warwick's voice sits right at the front of it, and the songs are built around those melodic hooks they've become known for. The Fire & Vengeance Tour brings that set to Edinburgh, with the band playing the same high-energy hard rock they've built their reputation on.
