Steel Coulson Southside runs a pub quiz every Tuesday night, from 8pm to 10pm, at their spot on Causewayside. It's a friendly, low-stakes affair, the kind of thing you can roll into mid-week without needing to prepare. Teams can be up to six people, so it works whether you've got a full crew or just a couple of mates to lean on when the questions get tricky.

The top prize is a £50 bar tab, which is enough to keep a small group in drinks for a good while.
