Fundraiser party with underground club DJs from Edinburgh, London and beyond, held in the spirit of Tommi White's Positive Vibrations parties.
Positive Vibrations: A Party for Tommi takes over The Street on Saturday 24 October, running from 15:00 through until 03:00. It's a fundraiser for Tommi White, a fixture of the local scene through MFSB Edinburgh and Vocalbooth Weekender, who's currently on the road to recovery after a serious brain aneurysm. The night is held in the spirit of Tommi's own Positive Vibrations parties, and the name carries over.
It's a long one, starting in the afternoon and going late into the night, with DJs from Edinburgh, London and beyond donating their time. The line-up is a big one: Dave Elders, Trendy Wendy, Lance Pearce, Jonathan Mcaneney, Richard Perry, Ket Shah, Mark Alexander (DJ Fraggle), Stephen Brown, Collin Patterson, Paul 'Subbo' Sutherland, Lawrie Francey and Scott Mackenzie. With that many names across twelve hours, the music is meant to take you on a wide-reaching journey through underground club music, shifting as the afternoon turns into evening and then into the early hours.
