Daria Kolosova plays The Liquidroom Warehouse on Saturday 7 November, brought to Edinburgh by Nightvision. It's a rare Scottish date for the Ukrainian techno artist, who's spent much of her time playing some of the biggest rooms in the scene, including Berghain in Berlin and Fabric in London.
Nightvision bills the night as techno and hard dance, and they're not shy about where it sits on the spectrum: this one leans towards the heavier end. If you're used to the more melodic or atmospheric side of the dancefloor, it's worth keeping in mind that this is built for the louder, faster side of things. Kolosova is the sole name on the bill, so the whole night revolves around her set.
