Monthly Drinks & Cards

Monthly Drinks & Cards is back at The Haymarket Bar this Saturday 24 October, starting at 20:00. It's hosted by Date with a Difference, and as the name suggests, the whole evening is built around card games and drinks. If you've never been, it's a straightforward setup: a few tables, a few decks, and plenty of people there to play.

They've got a range of titles on offer, with Cards Against Humanity being one of the regulars. If that's not your thing, there are others to choose from, so you can pick a game that suits your group. The drinks are there to keep the table going, and the whole thing runs on the second Saturday of the month, which makes it easy to work into a regular night out if you fancy it.

Because it's a recurring thing, you don't have to commit to just one date. If you miss this one, there'll be another in a few weeks. It's the kind of night that works whether you're rolling up with a group of friends or coming along on your own and finding a game to join in on. The focus is on the cards, and the drinks are there to round it out.

It's at The Haymarket Bar in Edinburgh, starting at 20:00 on Saturday 24 October, and it's free to attend.
