Live show by Polish hip-hop duo Mezo i Liber with hits such as 'Aniele' and 'Jakie masz dziś plany?' at Stramash.
Mezo i Liber are playing Stramash on Sunday 8 November, their first Edinburgh date in a while. They're Polish hip-hop artists whose collaboration made them staples of the Polish music scene in the 2000s, and whose songs have stayed with fans for years. The night is organised by Sherlock Media Events.
They're billing the show as a night of energy, emotion and hits almost everyone knows, and the setlist will be built around live performances of their best-known tracks. Among them are 'Aniele', 'Jakie masz dziś plany?', '7 rzeczy' and 'Mijamy się' — the kind of songs that defined their sound and kept them on the airwaves long after they first broke through. If you've followed them since the early days, these are the ones you'll recognise immediately.
It's a set that leans on that history, so it's as much about the songs as it is about the two of them sharing a stage. They describe it as a night of energy and emotion, and with those particular tracks in the mix, it's easy to see where they're coming from.
