Love Music's community and junior choirs play the Usher Hall with a guest appearance by singer Robyn Stapleton.
Love Music Community and Junior Choirs are taking over Usher Hall on Monday 9 November, their final concert of 2026. They're sharing the stage with singer Robyn Stapleton, and the whole thing is run by Love Music, a Scottish charity (SC037370) that opens up adventurous, inclusive music projects to communities and young people with the aim of raising aspirations and changing lives. The Community Choir is patronised by Edinburgh's Lord Provost, and the City of Edinburgh Council is their venue partner at Usher Hall.
If you've seen them before, you'll know the setlist doesn't stick to one lane. It's usually an eclectic mix: British synth-pop, Irish and Scottish lullabies, a Persian love song, reworked ancient melodies, and a tongue-in-cheek adaptation of a noughties boy band banger. It's the kind of programme that jumps from one end of the musical map to the other in a single evening.
On the conducting side, Stephen Deazley is Musical Director, Sally Jaquet leads the Junior Choir, and Dave Milligan is on piano. The performance runs for about an hour with no interval, so it's a straight through without a break. If you can't make it in person, the whole thing will be available to watch online afterwards.
